heeDESCRIPTION
taSThe MP1580 is a monolithic step-down switch
amode converter with a built in internal power
.DMOSFET. It achieves 2A continuous output
current over a wide input supply range with
wexcellent load and line regulation.
wwCurrent mode operation provides fast transient
response and eases loop stabilization.
mFault condition protection includes cycle-by-cycle
ocurrent limiting and thermal shutdown. In
.cshutdown mode the regulator draws 23µA of
supply current.
UThe MP1580 requires a minimum number of
readily available standard external components. A
t4synchronization pin allows the part to be driven to
600KHz.
